Jim Curry Fly Fishing is proud to have
gained access to of some of the most productive big-fish water on
the River Wear. The average weight in 2006 was just over 4lbs with
double figure fish not uncommon.
Last year's best evening saw one of our clients catch 6 seatrout
over 4lbs with the best being an extraordinary 8.75lbs!
The best fish this season is an exceptional 18 pounder, which was
returned!
We have access to some of the best holding water on the entire
river, so once we get water we tend to get and hold fish.
